Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 in very poor circumstances. Her mother, a failed schoolteacher and actor, made a living selling automobiles, while her father worked as an auto salesman. Jennifer was the oldest of her four siblings attended many theater shows with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's divorce occurred after she reached the age of five. Jennifer was a resident of British Columbia for most of her life following the divorce of her mother, along with the others moved there. Jennifer did not appear to be a scholarly kind, even though it was true she had a talent for art in her youth. As a child, Jennifer was often being the target of bullies in Canadian schools. When she was in high school, her love for theater started to diminish. In order to combat her loss of interest, her mother encouraged her to be an extra in a variety of productions. All of her children were inspired by their mother to follow their passion for art. After that, she immediately started to act.
